Heather and Alan’s Wedding

Okay, this has nothing to do with my wedding plans, other than it’s crazy, too. Alan and I went to the Giants games last weekend (yeah, Brewers swept the series – did you know Brewers fans actually carry brooms with them on vacation just in case they happen to be at a baseball game in which they sweep the series? They are crazy too).

Anyway, we got a free Crazy Crab bobble head. It’s scary looking. After joking about how much they would sell for on eBay, we looked it up Sunday night. Apparently someone out there thinks it’s worth $29.95 or more. Seriously – he’s my new wedding mascot. I think I’ll take bids on who wants to sit at the Crazy Crab Bobble head table for dinner.

Maybe we’ll also have that crazy tambourine man bobble head from the 49ers.

Not much to write about today…but since I’m supposed to be working, I’m sure I can find something to say.

did you know burgundy is a really hard color to match? So is gold! That’s what the potential caterer told me. So, I pick burgundy and gold for my colors!

I can’t believe I actually picked colors. How do we fall into these traps? I wanted a retreat center weekend with a ceremony and a BBQ. And somehow now I’m worried about finding hotel reservations for people who have not even received an invite yet! And colors! I’m going to get all the flavors of burgundy and gold I can and just mix them up in a big blender and see what we get. Probably something that resembles whatever my cat coughed up on the carpet last night.

Right now, that seems fitting for a wedding theme.
