Heather and Alan’s Wedding

Okay, my little wedding planner says 277 Days until our wedding…AND, I’ve completed 22 of 99 tasks. What? I’m using an online wedding planner?

HECK YEAH! And, I’m totally counting days by tearing rose petals off our roses and tossing them into a basket…one for each day counting down towards our bliss. Yes, I’m kidding! But not about the online planner. I LOVE this thing. Every time I complete a task, the little avatar bride inches closer to the groom, who, by the way, just sits there drinking beers and waiting for the little bride to complete the tasks so he can get a little “somptin’ somptin’” It’s ridiculous. Ridiculously accurate? NO, no…my hubby actually participates quite nicely – but his avatar is a bone head.

I’m scaring myself right now – I’m blogging about wedding avatars. I think there is something wrong with me. I KNEW bridal nightmares happen because we get sucked into this crazy world.

So, why am I actually posting? We booked a band. RhythmTown-Jive! Check them out. Or, check out their mySpace page for more music. Our family is confused as to if we should all go in for knee surgeries BEFORE the wedding so we can dance till we drop…or if we should wait until after and just blow out every joint, then do the surgeries. Such decisions.

Okay, we decided to get a dog and I need to sign off and go pick him up today. Alan is going to teach him all kinds of tricks so he can job down the aisle with our rings…the DOG, not Alan.
