‘nuf said. I’m ditching rental plates and “stainless steel” rentals for sugarcane plates and “plastic” ware. Under the guise of environmentally friendly (and wallet friendly) I’m purchasing the plates in large quantities. Let them make fun of me! Let them eat cake (off of paper plates!) Well, Mom does not agree so we’ll keep working on this one…

Ooooo! Even in the "correct colors"!

So, I was just reading many wedding blogs (because apparently I have no other life than being “bride” right now) and it just crossed my mind that I had it WAY TOO EASY in picking out my wedding dress.
I bought it 1.5 years early. I tried it on. It fit. Right off the rack. It’s elegant but not a “traditional” wedding dress. My sister and my friend said, you’re dumb if you don’t get it.
I got it at 1/2 off. Done.
Better yet? I still like it 1.5 years later! (and still fit into it! BONUS!)
So, I’ll change to stress about other things – like…EVERYTHING ELSE!

Is it so wrong to dance around the house to the Pointer Sisters? I think NOT!
“I’m so excited…and I just can’t hide it…I’m about to lose control and I think I like it…like it!” And why, you ask?
Well, although I am slightly excited about getting married, I’m REALLY excited that I just SCORED at the craft store! I think I got most of our table schwag onsale. See, there is a good thing about picking “Christmas Colors” for ones wedding. Post Christmas – it’s all on sale! Those little gold sparkly balls for the tree? Down from $9.99 to a mere $0.99 per DOZEN! YAHOO! It’s Christmas all year long.
My goal is to not spend over $2 for any single item. hehehe! My Scotish grandmother would be proud, eh? My Scotish father even more proud! Okay, I actually don’t even know if we ARE Scotish.
So, for all you decorators…I need help! What does one do with 96 gold sparkly Christmas balls now? And a few sprigs of gold flowery things.
Who knew? Only a crafter could get excited over finds like this. Buy first – create second. Seriously, this is as excited as I’ve gotten over any part of the wedding!
